Billionaire George Soros announced that he wants to invest in the Ukrainian economy $ 1 billion. Entrepreneur expects besides intensive care for a given investment strategy from the United States and Europe.
The head of the Open Society Foundations George Soros said that he has the exact investment projects in respect of economy of Ukraine. For example, he would like to invest $ 1 billion in agriculture or infrastructure of the said power, said the billionaire in his interview with Der standard.
With all this Soros emphasized that private investment in the Ukrainian economy need support from States of the West. He argues that the United States and the powers of the European Union must ensure the Minsk agreement and to avoid the buildup of army incident.
The billionaire is convinced that the economic support of Ukraine will bring financial prosperity of the powers that will be advantageous for States of the European Union. In addition to the question of publication, Soros repeat the actions of bill gates, billion invested in the development of Africa, the businessman gave the answer that he was ready. "There is a precise investment ideas, for example, in agriculture or infrastructure projects," he said.
As a result of protracted political crisis, the economy of Ukraine at the moment is in a very difficult position. In early March, 2015, the Board of Directors of the International monetary Fund confirmed the four-year program of economic support to Ukraine in the amount of 17.5 billion dollars.
George Soros, whose fortune is estimated at 28.7 billion dollars, often called for the European Union to provide economic support for Ukraine. Namely, in one of your own interview, he called on Europe to help the Ukrainian economy informally, referring to the methods of covert support of the militia of the domestic government.
