The authorities took the decision to defend the elderly from losing investments. Now, if funds in the retirement account will not be enough, they are replenished from the reserve.

"If the amount of funds pension savings, reflecting the outcome of their investment will be less than the amount of funds insured person guaranteed by the Pension Fund in establishing payments using pension savings funds in the special part of the external personal account of the insured person reflects the amount of warranty replacement through the means of reserve Fund for mandatory pension insurance. When this happens no later than the date of appointment of pension and (or) a fixed-term pension payments or simultaneous payments", - is told in the document on the official government web site.

The government explained that these measures are intended to protect the interests of the natives of retirement age. "The decision is aimed at ensuring the safety of pension savings of insured persons that are considered when establishing the payments", - is told in the news.

Remember that authorities have long been discussing pension reform. In April, the government promised in the foreseeable future to decide the fate of the pension. This issue is crucial, because earlier it was mentioned that this part of the payments can cancel.
