The famous coach has got on a bribe (video)

In Europe inflames another resounding scandal relating to the Affairs connected with substantial bribes in the sport. Steering the coach of the Czech national team on hockey Vladimir Ruzicka, among other things working with the youth team of the Prague Slavia, is suspected of receiving a bribe.

The incident happened just before home to the Czech Republic world Cup 2015. In the Czech Republic in the public domain was a video in which the father of one of hockey Prague Slavia communicates with a famous coach Vladimir Ruzicki and openly declares twice referred to them a bribe of 250 thousand CZK, which represents approximately 20 thousand euros. On video, published in Czech media, Ruzicka receives these funds from the father of a hockey player David Palascak.

Parents of young hockey players claim that the expert took the cash and promised their son a place in the Prague Slavia. The EA itself does not deny the fact of receiving cash, but said that it was a charitable contribution. Ruzicka assures that the funds went not to his own needs, and for the repair of the sports hall.

The video caused a huge response in the Czech Republic. Local hockey Union said that they would try to arrange everything possible to keep this case concerned the preparation of the Czech national team home world Cup, which will be held from may 1 to 17.

Vladimir Ruzicka is considered the most famous and influential Czech ice hockey coach in the world. As a player, he became the favourite of the Olympic games in 1998 Nagano, beating in the final the Russian team and the favorite of the world 1985. Additionally, Ruzicka in the "Edmonton" became the owner of the Cup Stanley in 1990. He was twice recognized as the best player of Czechoslovakia (1986 and 1988).

After his career for some time Ruzicka served as assistant principal coach of the Czech Republic and Prague Slavia, and after the death of Ivan Glinka in 2004 he headed the national team, winning the gold medal in the 2005 world championship. The second time he took the reins of the national team in 2009, a year later, again winning the world supremacy. With Slavia Ruzicka twice became the champion of the Czech Republic (2003 and 2008).
