The party of Communists of Moldova (PCRM) and the Transnistrian Communist party (PKP) has recognized illegal the decision of Ukrainian authorities to impose a ban on Communist symbols.
The Ukrainian Parliament on April 9 passed a law condemning the Communist and Nazi regimes, banning their imposition and the use of public symbols.
"Forbidding citizens to use the national anthem, emblem, flag, slogans of the Soviet Union, the names of streets and cities, to wear awards with symbols of the Soviet period, the policy attempted massacre of heroes - winners of the great Patriotic war ", - said in a statement on Tuesday, the statement of the Central Committee of the PCRM. PCRM in 2012 challenged in the constitutional court a law banning the use of Communist symbols for political purposes and propaganda of totalitarian ideology."
