A free trade area between Ukraine and the EU will start to work from January 1, 2016, said the head of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin. According to Klimkin, the FTA "nobody will be cancelled," reports the news Agency.
"No one and nothing will save. This is the final decision, " he explained. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the European Parliament on 16 September 2014 ratified the Association agreement between Kyiv and Brussels, however, the use of a free trade agreement has been postponed until 1 January 2016.
