The energy Ministers of the G7 countries urged to urgently resolve the Ukrainian crisis
The energy Ministers of the group of seven (G7) in the final communiqu? called on political forces "without delay to resolve the Ukrainian crisis" and stressed that energy can't be used for political purposes.
The Ministerial meeting held in Hamburg on may 11-12 at the beginning of the G7 summit in ELMAU. Mainly, the final document is devoted to General problems of energy security, but Ukraine also occupies the last place.
"We call for an urgent resolution of the fall and emphasize that energy has the ability to be applied or as a means of political coercion nor in the form of safety hazard," reads the communiqu?.
It is noted that the Ministers remain committed to our decision last year to support Ukraine in the energy sphere. In may of last year at their recent meeting in Rome, the Ministers of the G7 countries agreed to Express support for the infrastructure of the energy sector of Ukraine.
The chairmanship of the "Big seven" from 1 July last year moved to Germany, the summit of the heads of the G7 countries will be held June 7-8 at ELMAU castle in the Bavarian Alps.
"Eight" has turned into "seven" after the G7 in 2014, has decided not to send their leaders at the informal summit of the club of developed countries in Sochi and gathered without the participation of Russia in Brussels. This decision was made on the background of the Crimean events. Now in the group of seven includes the following countries: Germany, USA, Canada, Japan, France, UK, Italy.
in Hamburg Authorized G7 and the European Commission gathered at the invitation of the Minister of economy and energy of Germany Sigmar Gabriel. On the first day of the week and Tuesday they discussed the correlated first in Rome Plan of action of 13 points. The plan was formed as a response to the current crisis situation in Ukraine. In Hamburg it was decided the Plan again to Express support.
