Demchyshyn: the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to allocate money for the purchase of coal
The government of Ukraine until not willing to consider the allocation of funds for the purchase of coal required for thermal power plants of the country, said the Minister of energy and coal industry Volodymyr demchyshyn. The Minister expressed concern on this issue, taking into account the approaching in the near future a new heating season. "Yatsenyuk (Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine) today refused to consider a decree on the financing of the acquisition of coal ", - quotes the expression Demchishin news Agency referring to the Ukrainian media. Ministry officials expect that the Cabinet will report on the provision of state "Oschadbank" 2, 2 billion hryvnia (104, 6 million dollars at current exchange rates) for the purchase of coal for thermal power plants. Demchyshyn said that currently there are about 200 million hryvnia (9, 51 million) allocated in previous periods, for the purchase of coal. On the first day of the week the Head of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine Volodymyr demchyshyn said that the country will not have time to transfer the thermal power plant (TPP) with antracitas grade coal to gas coal before the start of the heating season.
