Klishas: extension by Canada of punishments designed to effect within the country
The extension of Canada's sanctions on Russia counterproductive to the peace process in Ukraine and is designed to effect in the country, told reporters the head of the constitutional Department of the Federation Council Andrey Klishas in connection with the expansion of Canada's sanctions list against Russia.
"Canada has apparently lost touch with reality, the Extension of the sanctions list, it's Clear, can do more harm to the peace process than contributes to the fulfillment by the parties of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine," he said.
The government of Canada on the first day of the week extended sanctions List against Russia, including three Residents of the Russian Federation and 14 legal entities. The appeal of the Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper reported that the additional penalties associated with the situation in Ukraine.
