MOSCOW, February 11 (RIA Novosti) - Two Russian military personnel were killed and one wounded after a dispute turned violent in the early hours of Wednesday in the southern Achkhoi-Martan district Chechnya, a police source said.
"A contract soldier is suspected of shooting dead two of his colleagues and wounding another with a Kalashnikov machine gun during a quarrel," the source said.
The wounded soldier was hospitalized.
No further details have been reported at present.
A probe is underway. The soldier faces up to 20 years in prison or a life sentence if convicted.
