Kiev plans to achieve the state budget deficit in 2016 at level 3, 75% of the GDP, said Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko.
"Our goal is to reach the 2016 target of a budget deficit of 3, 75% of the GDP," Jaresko said at a Board meeting of the Ministry of Finance on the first day of the week.
Thus tabled in Parliament a draft decree on the main directions of budget policy for 2016 provides the balance and stability of the budgetary system by maintaining the limit on government deficit within 3% of GDP.
in early July, the national Bank of Ukraine said that it expects the deficit sector of the state management in 2015 at the level 3, 6% of GDP, and given the deficit of "Naftogaz Ukraine" - about 7% of GDP.
