Russia will respond to new Western sanctions
6 States that have acceded to extended economic sanctions of the EU against Russia, Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Ukraine - will fall under the Russian response.

Moscow has consistently emphasized that holds the principles of reciprocity, reminded the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

Powers of the European Union had extended financial sanctions against Russia on 22 June, however July 29, they were joined by another 6 countries - Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Ukraine. The head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini said that the European Union has taken note of these steps and strongly welcomes them.

Russia, also, reminded that reserves the right to take retaliatory measures. Therefore, against these States in addition can start to work neat punishment. "Of course I can. We reiterate that, of course, is the fundamental principle of reciprocity" - quoted by RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

With all of this, compliance with the limitations of power will be observed rigidly. "Alas, indeed an increasing number of commercial products that are here get to bypass domestic embargo. Accordingly, these products, these products are on the terrain of the Russian Federation illegally. Accordingly, the government has an obligation to stop it, to take measures to prevent it," said Sands.

"Every smuggling causes financial damage," he added. In this regard, the government will carefully monitor the tightness of the bounds for sanctions products, and the products that are still in the country, may be destroyed. All this is done, first, to assist the Russian manufacturer and stimulation of domestic production of food products.

Remember that food embargo on some products from the EU and America was introduced by the Russian side in the summer of last year. August 6, 2014 the Russian President signed a decree "On the application of certain specialized financial measures to ensure the security of Russia" in response to punishment and to support domestic producers. A ban was imposed on import of beef, pork, vegetables and fruits, poultry, fish, cheese, milk and most dairy products from the United States, the European Union, Canada, Australia and Norway. Initially, the penalties were imposed for the year, but June 24, 2015 Vladimir Putin has signed a decree extending the food embargo until August 5, 2016.
