A briefcase with cash and documents has been stolen from an attache of the Lithuanian Embassy in Moscow, a police source said on Tuesday.
"An unidentified man took advantage of the unlocked door of a Subaru car to steal a briefcase, which belonged to a Lithuanian Embassy attache on defense issues," the source said.
The diplomat told police that 20,000 rubles ($650), a diplomatic passport and other documents were stolen.
An investigation is underway.
