Ukraine allows increasing the share of Russian gas in purchases by up to 50%
The head of Ministry of Ukraine Volodymyr demchyshyn allows for the increase in the share of gas imports from Russia to 50% from the current 30% due to its more affordable price At a given time.
"The proportion (of gas from Russia and Europe - ed.) before the end of the year can't tell, during the current year it was 30 to 70, 70% - European direction and 30% - Russian direction. Currently we are seeing that the cost of gas from Russia below, for this reason can be this proportion will slightly shift in favor of " Gazprom ", but somehow it just will not be more than 50% ", - said Demchyshyn at a press conference on Thursday.
"Gazprom" on October 12 resumed deliveries of gas to Ukraine.
