A British banker has pleaded not guilty in killing of 2 women
Former British banker has pleaded not guilty in the murder of two Indonesian women in Hong Kong.
31-year-old man, who plays in the High court of Hong Kong on Monday refused two counts of murder, claiming insanity.

In the early morning hours of November 1, 2014, the Hong Kong police received a call from the then 29-year-old suspect with a request to the police to come to his apartment complex in the lively district of Wan Chai. The accused worked in Hong Kong in the us Bank Merrill Lynch before his arrest, according to court documents. He was detained for 2 years awaiting trial. The accused sat in court dressed in a blue shirt, dark pants and black-rimmed glasses.

While many places in the hall were occupied by the media, the meeting was also attended by migrant workers, dressed in black t-shirts reading "Justice".

According to police, investigators found two dead women in the apartment Wan Chai, later identified as 25-year-old Sumarti Nigsa and 30-year Seneng Muriatic. The corpse of one of the victims was found with cut wounds on the neck and buttocks, while the other victim was found on the balcony in multistory apartment, with neck injuries. She was believed to have died on October 27, 2014, a few days before, the accused called the police.

Both murdered women, Sumarti and Seneng were labor migrants in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is home to many Indonesian and Filipino migrants, many of whom work as maids or household servants. Sumarti, was the mother of 7-year-old.

"She was just an ordinary woman from Indonesia. As I and many others, she was forced to work abroad to feed his family," said Rumiati, cousin, Sumarti after exploring her tragic death.
