Apple was granted a patent for a flexible iPhone that can be folded in half and attach to clothing. No need to put the device in his pocket.
While Apple often gets a patent on technology that will never see the light of day, the company often gives a glimpse into the future. A patent for "flexible device" which was filed in July 2014 - there is a touchscreen smartphone with a clamshell design popularized. The patent brings to the fore, smartphones, showing a flexible OLED display that can be bent to face each other or back to back. Additional loops will help accommodate the different ways of folding phone.
It is unlikely that we will see foldable iPhone in the near future, but flexible screens is not the first time Apple has shown interest in him. Earlier this month, Apple was granted their first patent for a folding camp bed that opens and closes like a laptop. The patent describes how "carbon nanotubes" can bend to form a center hinge. At the same time, the firm received a patent on a flexible screen in 2016 for the iPhone. Other recent patents of Apple include a screen that rotates 360 degrees, completely turning around the phone, and smart glasses to rival Google Glass product.
