The South Korean authorities began the ascent of the ferry "Sevol"
The South Korean authorities started to rise the ferry "Seval", which sank 3 years ago, then killed 304 people, mostly students. A long delay in the recovery of the vessel angered families of the victims, many of whom gathered on boats to watch the operation.

By order of the provisional government planned to raise the vessel follows the impeachment of former President Park Geun-Hye. Engineers attempt to raise the steamer with a length of 140 m without having to cut it into pieces. This will help to get 9 bodies, which are believed to be still trapped inside.

"Today I came here thinking that I will be able to see the ship, buried the soul of my son," said lim young-Zhai, whose son died in the crash. Lim said that he wants the ship was restored, "to finally could reveal the truth."

The families who lost their loved ones, gave an emotional press conference Wednesday at a Marina harbour Paengmok's the Jindo in front of the lighthouse painted red with a yellow ribbon, a symbol of the disaster on the ferry. Thousands of yellow ribbons are still tied to the railing, photos, drawings, messages and prayers from well-wishers.

Engineers will attempt to place a floating "lifting beams" and pontoons under steam, and then a winch to pull him to the surface. It will then be towed to shore. If the ferry starts to fall apart, it is expected that the experts will stop the process.

A passenger ferry sank with the South-West coast of Korea on 16 April 2014. More than 300 passengers died, most of whom were high school kids. In a later investigation found signs of negligence by the coast guard and the actions of the crew and the captain that day.
