Su-27 of Russian air force intercepted a reconnaissance plane of the U.S. air force over the Baltic sea
According to the official representative of the United States, on Monday, reconnaissance aircraft, air force RC-135 US air force intercepted a Russian aircraft flying a fighter su-27, which was considered "unsafe".

The Russian aircraft were armed and "randomly flying", the official added, noting that the maneuvers are considered unsafe because of proximity to the aircraft. The representative of the European command (EUCOM) Megan Henderson confirmed that the interception occurred when American aircraft "was flying in international airspace over the Baltic sea". "Because of the high speed and poor control over the Russian plane during the interception of this interaction has been identified as dangerous," she said.

Russia challenged the allegations that her plane was at fault during a collision, and said that was intercepted by 2 us spy plane when they "approached the Russian state border". "With the support plane RC-135 tried to get closer to Russian fighter plane, making a provocative twist to it," said the Ministry. Then, after 10 minutes, the second SAM-135 United States entered the zone and were intercepted by a Russian su-27, according to the Ministry.

From the beginning of June was about 30 interactions between American and Russian planes and ships near the Baltic sea, said the official representative of the United States. The vast majority of these meetings were safe and professional, the official added, which adds to the significance of the incident, which occurred on Monday.

This last interception also occurred amid growing tension between the two countries in Europe and the middle East. Last weekend more than 1,000 troops of the US and NATO held a defensive training in Suwalki in the border zone between Poland and Lithuania. This area is considered by most experts as a probable Russian target in the event of a military confrontation between NATO and Russia.
