In Afghanistan killed two American soldiers
The Pentagon said that the attack on the convoy of the NATO mission in Afghanistan led to the deaths of two American service members.

"Two employees of security service of the USA were killed in Kandahar, Afghanistan, when their convoy was attacked," - said in a statement, Pentagon spokesman Navy captain USA Jeff Davis. Earlier Wednesday, NATO-led Resolute support mission that trains and advises military and police of Afghanistan confirmed that the attack resulted in casualties. "Resolute support will confirm that a NATO convoy was attacked today in Kandahar, and the attack did lead to the victims," the statement said.

Senior attack against coalition occurs when the administration of President Donald trump is trying to determine its commitment to and strategy for Afghanistan and the wider region and can be considered as an attempt to shape the debate. The Minister of defence James Mattis told Congress that the strategy will be determined by mid-July, but since then it is reported that the administration continues to work on this.

In the absence of the administration's policies on Afghanistan, Senator John McCain, Republican Chairman of the armed services Committee, said Monday that he will work on creating a strategy to win the conflict in September.

Losses in the United States and coalition forces in Afghanistan have become more rare in recent years, falling sharply since then as the Afghan government assumed responsibility for combat operations in 2014. But in recent months there was a surge when U.S. forces have become more directly involved in the fight against local ISIS.

Last week, at least 26 Afghan soldiers were killed and another 13 wounded in a Taliban attack on a military camp in the province Acres, according to the Ministry of defense of Afghanistan. Violence also continues in other areas of the country. At least 29 people were killed and dozens wounded on Tuesday in a suicide attack-suicide during evening prayers at a Shiite mosque in the city of Herat, in Western Afghanistan.
