Police have established the identity of the driver of the van, ran over people in Barcelona

The man suspected of killing 13 people when the van crashed into a crowd of people in Barcelona, has been identified by Catalan authorities as younц?s Abujamal. Abujamal was the only driver of the van, according to the Minister of internal Affairs of Catalonia Joaquim.

Police were hunting for 22-year-old Moroccan citizen Abuakwa, since the attack, but not initially confirmed him as the driver of the van that early Thursday morning crashed into a crowd of people on Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
