Thirteen Russian customs officials have been deprived of their bonuses over video footage of a New Year`s party in a customs office in the Far East, said Thursday.
A video posted on the Internet showed customs officials from the office in the city of Vladivostok drinking champagne and dancing with women at a New Year`s party in their office in Vladivostok.
"It has been established that when shooting the video clip, Vladivostok customs officials violated both the law on state civil service and the code of official conduct by using the customs post, their uniforms and other official items for purposes not connected with their professional duties," Volodina said.
In mid-February, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin reprimanded the chief of the customs service, Andrei Belyaninov, over the incident.
