CSKA Moscow`s star-striker Vagner Love has expressed his desire to quit Russian football and return home to Brazil.
ґ"I have worked in Russia for the last seven years and at a very good level," Vagner Love told Sport-Express newspaper. "That`s a long term. Regardless of the way I play - I want to breathe new air, which means, first of all, to returning to Brazil. I`ve already informed the club`s president."
According to the 27-year-old, CSKA`s head, Evgeny Giner, is ready to let him go and all is needed now is a "specific proposal" from the Brazilian team.
Vagner Love joined the Moscow team in 2004, scoring 73 goals in 144 games for the Army Men. He has won two Russian Premier League titles, five Russian Cups and UEFA Cup with CSKA.
It is not the first time the striker has felt nostalgic about his motherland. In 2009 and 2010 he was loaned to Brazilian clubs Palmeiras and Flamengo, respectively.
Vagner also confirmed rumors that he recently sent a text-message to Flamengo chairman, Patricia Amorim, saying "Get me out of here!"
