Russia`s largest interactive museum of animated film will open its doors this week in the capital. The one-off venue will be based at Moscow`s Polytechnic Museum.
ґThe museum will feature a permanent collection featuring a large selection of puppets - over one hundred pieces, as well as various sketches, set models and multiple technical devices used by filmmakers.
The Russian museum will also team up with other animation centers and studios around the world accommodating a range of different exhibitions.
Among its main goals is to bring the spotlight on the history of world animation exposed in an easily accessible form, as well as to support the Russian animation industry promote its professional school at home and overseas.
