The nuts and bolts of shooting porn can be studied live and legally in America, where a former armory fortress has been transfromed into a headquarters of adult movies.
ґGroupon website has reportedly sold over a thousand discounted tours around fetish porn company Kink.com`s San Francisco armory site. The Kink.com founder reportedly bought the armory, vacant since the late 1970s, for $14.5 million back in 2006.
The Morality in Media organization, which raises awareness about the possible harm of porn, has voiced indignation over the erotic excursions, saying that selling coupons "supporting the degradation of women is as low as a publicly-traded company can go."
"Groupon frames the tour as a historic one, comparing the opportunity to visiting the Smithsonian Institute because the building that houses Kink has an `historic history in San Francisco," Executive Director of Morality in Media, Dawn Hawkins said in a statement.
According to Hawkins, the studio features "women suspended and tied in rope bondage? tormented beyond all reason;` and of women `naked, tied up, bound, punished, exposed in public? who are taken to public bars for public sex and public humiliation."
Meanwhile what seems alarming to many, appears to be liberating to Kink.com, whose stated mission is "to empower people to explore their sexuality".
