Switzerland, November 17 - Paintings from Pushkin museum are expected to leave Switzerland for Russia Thursday, a Russian diplomat said.
Three trucks with paintings had already arrived in Geneva from Basel, as Dmitry Mezhaurov, Russia`s consul-general to Geneva informed.
In Geneva trucks were located on the park-lot of the shipping agency Natural Lecoultre SA. According to Mezhaurov the fourth truck will be loaded in Geneva on Thursday, at 9.00 a.m After all four trucks accompanied with the Russian consul-general will cross the Swiss-French border.
As a reminder, on Wednesday, Customs authorities in Basel and Geneva arrested four trucks carrying 55 paintings by famous artists, including Monet, Renoir, Sisley and Van Gogh, from Moscow`s Pushkin Fine Arts Museum after an exhibition in Martigny.
