Warhead intercepted first time in anti-missile defense history

For the first time of anti-missile defense system development Americans managed to intercept training warhead rocket, launched from ship.

"Shot was made from rocket cruiser Lake Erie and warhead was prang 160 kilometers above Pacific ocean", - informs Missile Defense Agency.

This is a significant achievement because it is rather complicated to prang warhead without confusing it with separated carrier.

Cruiser Lake Erie is equipped by special system of exposure and tracking of intercontinental ballistic missile. Ships with this technology patrol Japan Sea.
