Pre-election leaflets of LDPR party prohibited for showing to electors
Moscow city election committee prohibited spread of pre-election leaflets of LDPR political party, which participates in elections to Moscow City Duma.
As assistant of Moscow city election committee chairman Vyacheslav Shulenin informed, a man with Caucasian appearance, selling melons, is depicted on leaflet, and lower a slogan appealing to expel all citizens of southern regions of Russia and Transcaucasia from Moscow is placed. Slogans were "To close for guests from south" and "For town with Russian faces".
Earlier committee prohibited leaflet of another candidate - "Unified Russia". There is no information what members of committee disliked in agitation material of "Unified Russia" and why this fact was hidden for a long time.
Meanwhile it became known about action from representatives of "Rodina" party to liberal democrats. Plaintiffs accuse defendants in kindling of international discord and demand cancellation of their registration in elections to Moscow city Duma.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky declared, from his turn, that suit of "Rodina" is self-advertisement of party in State Duma.
Current pre-election campaign has lots of claims to agitation materials of candidates.
