33 dead swans have been found in Lagan district of Kalmykia on shore of Caspian Sea.
The cause of death was not ascertained yet, press-cutting service of Southern regional center of Emergency Control Ministry reported.
"14 dead swans were found in 7 kilometers from the town Lagan 26 November, 19 dead birds were found there 27 November. Diseased and dead birds were cremated. Taken samples were sent to Pyatigorsk inter-regional veterinary laboratory", - Emergency Control Ministry informed "Interfax".
According to press-cutting service the conference of emergency situation commission in Lagan district of Kalmykia was conduct to take preventive measures for non-proliferation of birds? disease.
"Hunting for waterfowls was banned. A group for inspection of Caspian Sea shore was created to discover diseased birds", - press-cutting service reported.
