Blood-thirsty squirrels of Littoral region tore cur to shreds
Lack of natural food in Dalnerechensky district of Littoral region forced wild squirrels to attack domestic animals.
As it became known from witnesses, citizens of Lazo settlement, group of squirrels attacked cur that walked in forest with owner. Hungry animals actually tore the dog into shreds. By evidence of old residents, there was not such amount of squirrels in forests of Dalnerechensky region for a long time. Rodents appear only in 2005. The cause became high harvest of cedar nuts last year.
