Administration of White House is worried about selling of Russian antiaircraft missile complex to Iran and intends to discuss this deal with Moscow. This was declared on briefing in Washington by official USA State department representative Adam Early.
"This deal, of course, doesn`t meet our interests and interests of region, - announced Early. - Iran is a sponsor of terrorism and we consider the deal in this context".
By Early words, supplies of Russian missiles to Iran were discussed during recent visit to Moscow of USA general vice-secretary in political questions Nicolas Barnes. "Barnes made it clear that USA is anxious about Iran behavior in general and about this deal, in particular", - emphasized Early.
At the same moment representative of State department noted Russian efforts in negotiations with Iran.
On December 5 Russian minister of Defense Sergey Ivanov officially confirmed the delivery of "Top-M1" antiaircraft missile complex to Iran. By Ivanov`s words, this complex is "100% defense armament of average range".
