During terrorist attack, school in Beslan was guarded by unarmed woman-policeman, who became a hostage.
This announcement was made by the head of parliament committee over terrorist action in Beslan investigation Alexander Torshin.
"One guy, who was near school by accident opened the fire at terrorists during first minutes of capture, - explained Torshin. - He was the officer of the criminal investigation department but was sick at that day. Going for a walk he took pistol. At moment of capture, he passed by".
Torshin said that some hostages could die during the storm because of militiamen`s actions. "Citizens, who are called militiamen, also opened fire at school, though they say: "No, we shot at terrorists". But shell could kill not only terrorists but children and emergency plat soldiers".
