Moscow authorities will pay damages to families of dead and injured as a result of domestic gas explosion in apartment house on Godovnikov street.
Families of dead will get 100 thousands rubles. People, being on treatment, will be paid 50 thousands rubles. People, who lost property, will get pecuniary aid - up to 100 thousands rubles per family. Also reconstruction of the house will be repaid. Moreover, capital authorities have already given about 22 thousands rubles for funerals.
At present moment all citizens, whose apartments have been destroyed or unsuitable for living, are placed in hotels "Tourist" and "Ostankino". They will spend about 2 months there till damaged apartments will be reconstructed.
On December 12, mayor of Moscow Yurii Luzhkov signed a decree about formation of consequences` liquidation committee. According to document, vice-mayor in Moscow administration Petr Aksenov has been appointed as a chairman of committee. Members of committee are prefect of West-Eastern district Irina Raber, vice-director of Moscow town-planning politics, development and reconstruction department Alexander Levchenko, the head of housing and communal services and municipal improvements Artur Keskinov and others.
4 people have died as a result of explosion in 7-storied building on Godovnikov street on December 7, 2005. During explosion walls at 5-th, 6-th and 7-th floors have collapsed. Moscow Office of Public Prosecutor instituted criminal proceedings according to article 168 (voluntary waste) and article 216 (violation of safety regulations during construction works) of Russian Criminal Code.
