Freighter "Ternei", owned by the Littoral shipping company "Ardis", returned to Vladivostok from North Korean port Kimchek after weekly arrest.
By words of "Ardis" director Andrei Makeev, all 14 members of crew are alive and healthy. Sailors were greeted by relatives and friends in the port.
Russian freighter "Ternei" was released by authorities of Korean National Democratic republic on Tuesday. Soon after that motor ship directed to Vladivostok.
Ship "Ternei", which sailed from South Korea to Vladivostok, has got into storm on December 5. Because the ship has the rank "river-sea", the captain decided to enter territorial waters of Korea, basing on legislative norms of International Sea Convention. He notified frontier authorities of North Korea about his intention and received appropriate permission. But ship was detained by frontier guards and conveyed to port Kimchek for following investigation.
