Sweden police has started the struggle against contraband of Russian black caviar.
On the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays, when demand for this delicacy is especially high, police conducted spot-checks over stores and restaurants of second largest Sweden town - Geteborg. It was established that Russian black caviar, export of which was prohibited since 2003, was sold in half of trade points, checked by policemen.
Owners of stored and restaurants explained that they didn`t know about ban on Russian black caviar. Because it was first operation, violators will be only warned and fined.
