Crimean museums advised to sue for gold of Scythians

If the Netherlands will hand over the collection of Scythian gold from 5 museums of Crimea Ukraine, this will be a violation of Museum law. About it, according to RIA Novosti, announced the Chairman of the Commission of the Public chamber of Russia on culture Andrey Kovalchuk. The exhibits at the moment are at the exhibition in Amsterdam.

According to the version Kovalchuk, in case of their transfer to Kiev, Crimea, Ukraine will have to apply to the international Tribunal. "While this information comes from the Ukrainian side. The collection of Scythian gold was removed from the Crimea to the exhibition of the archaeological Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam in February (before the referendum on joining the Peninsula in the Russian Federation). Today Ukraine and Russia simultaneously claim to the Scythian treasures.
