Search of 2 drowned passengers of "Gazel" minibus, which broke through ice in Oka river on January 17, will be resumed on Thursday near Pavlovo town of Nizhegorodskaya oblast.
"At present moment rescuers departed to the place, search should start about 10:00 a.m. More than 10 rescuers will participate in search operation", - informed the head administration of Russian Emergency Ministry over Nizhegorodsky oblast.
The work of divers is complicated by strong current at 4-meter depth and 30-degree frost on surface.
"Place of ice breach freezed, new ice-holes have been made - rescuers search the dead bodies downstream", - explained the situation in center.
Minibus, conveying 15 workers, broke through 15-cm ice, 40 meters from the shore. As a result 6 people and car drowned; the driver and remaining 8 passengers managed to get out of the bus and reach the shore.
Regional Office of Prosecutor instituted criminal proceeding according to article 264, part 3 of Russian criminal code (violation of traffic rules and carrier exploitation).
On Wednesday experts of regional and district emergency-rescue units lifted 4 dead bodies (3 men and a woman) and the car.
