The IMF mission will stay in Kyiv until the end of the week
The mission of the international monetary Fund (IMF) in Ukraine has extended its work before the end of the week, said on Thursday the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
" A constructive dialogue between the IMF delegation and the members of the Ukrainian government continues ", - is informed in the report.
The mission was on a plan to finish work on 9 July.
yesterday the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the story is about taking the second tranche of the IMF loan at the amount of 1, 5 billion dollars for stabilization of economic situation in the country. According to him, Ukraine has fulfilled the criteria for obtaining the tranche.
IMF mission should give mid-term evaluation of the performance of the Kyiv stabilization program, under which the Fund provides credit funds. Total assistance of the IMF Ukraine approved in the amount of 17 billion dollars, 1st tranche 3, $ 2 billion was adopted in may.
The allocation of the second tranche, in the amount which called for the first 1, 4 billion dollars will be depending on the implementation by the Ukrainian authorities ' reform program.
