Ramzan Kadyrov became honorable academician by requests of work-people

Chechen vice-premier was awarded a title of academician of natural sciences "by petition of respected scientists".

The leaders of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences tried to explain during special press-conference that Kadyrov Jr. has deserved the title.

Vice-president of Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Lagutkin said that "Academy observes situation in Chechnya for 12 years and the time has come to celebrate the improvement".

In response to the supposition of one journalist that level of Kadyrov`s education is not high enough for title of academician (by some information he finished only first 3 classes of school and graduated from Makhachkala Institute by correspondence recently), Lagutkin said: "Its not a big deal. I also attended institute by correspondence!".

The president of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Oleg Kuznetsov rejected the assumption that one can become member of Academy by donating a certain sum. By his words, "this practice is common for West but it is unacceptable for Russia. One needs only to pay an entrance fee of 3 thousands rubles and make an annual payment of 150 rubles.

As administration of RANS has announced, rewarding of title to Kadyrov has no relation to advertisement of the Academy because all academicians are well-known people. "Among our honorable academicians are Prince of Wales Charles, ex-acting Chechen premier-minister Nikolai Koshman and the head of Egyptian National Council of human rights defence Butros Gali", -boasted Kuznetsov.

Moreover, Chechen representation in Russian Academy of Sciences will increase again. Kuznetsov said that rector of Groznyy will become academician in nearest future.

As a reminder, Ramzan Kadyrov was awarded title of honorable academician of RANS for "overcoming of negative phenomena, which took place in the view of illegal armed units` activity in Chechnya".
