Russian scientists are exploring the possible reactions of human organism to the conditions of life and work on the moon. The study will take part 12 volunteers.
Started 1 worldwide experiment on testing models of physiological effects of human presence on the surface of celestial bodies with the low level of gravity. Scientists and doctors report that such research allows to analyze the reaction of the organism on this planet on the conditions in which the astronauts will have to live and work on the moon.
The project will involve 12 male volunteers. "They will spend in bed 21 days under all possible angles of the body relatively horizontal axis", - said the press service of the Federal medical-biological Agency of Russia(FMBA of Russia), ITAR-TASS reported. Researchers and doctors of several institutions will be evaluated highly functional state of testers using the most modern methods of diagnostics and technology.
Among others, representatives of the Department of public relations of the Federal medical and biological Agency reported that the main job will be to study the reactions of the cardio-respiratory system and musculoskeletal apparatus for forecasting low gravity. Directly under such conditions, the astronauts will have to live and work on the moon.
"1-St series of experiments includes about 20 surveys. Also is scheduled 5 experiments, which are designed for a couple of years", - have added in Department of public relations. Research will be conducted on the basis of the scientific research Institute of space medicine of the Federal scientific-clinical center of specialised kinds of medical aid and medical technologies FMBA of Russia.
