Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk predicts in practice, the complete cessation of trade with Russia in the bilateral format in view of the aggravation of relations between the countries, as well as the European sanctions against Russia.
" My forecast further: we must prepare for what we will have in practice the full restricting trade with Russia in a bilateral format, " he said at a meeting on the problems of diversification of sales markets and sources of supply of industrial products.
U.S. authorities on Wednesday introduced a fresh punishment relative to Russian organizations, and among them, Gazprombank and Vnesheconombank, as well as energy organizations Rosneft and NOVATEK. According to Yatsenyuk, this situation may not affect Ukraine.
" When Western countries imposed sanctions against Russia, close markets, losses, and we sit and think that it is so simple to be held, is wrong and does not meet the norms of international law, and is not responsible to the chief: the concept of our dignity. I realize all the economic consequences, and you understand. But I also understand that the Russian Federation is not the only market in the world, where Ukrainian products should be delivered. For this reason, the government is ready to do everything to ensure that in the short term, we have diversified markets ", - the Ukrainian Prime Minister said.
" according to our preliminary estimates, the export of Ukrainian products will be reduced to an estimated us $ 5 billion in that case, if the Russian market is completely closed ", - he added.
