Putin considers critics directed to Russia in western mass-media to be useful.
"As for serious critics, we are interested in it, it helps us pay attention to the mistakes, we make, it gives us opportunity to concentrate resources on the tasks that are really important. Critics of course is not a very pleasant thing, nobody likes it, but it is useful", said Putin at the big press-conference, answering the question if he is interested what western mass-media write about Russia.
"We need to know, what they say about Russia , but at the same time we need to tell benevolent analysis and critics of our friends in other countries, who want to see Russia stable, they want to see Russia valuable, enjoying full rights participant of international life, and they want to get positive results from collaboration with such a country. There are majority of people with such attitude to Russia", said Putin.
According to his words, there are also "advisers", who do not understand the processes taking place in Russia and do not understand the changing world.
"They are just working out the line of conduct. It is not worth to get into discussion with them, because when we are disputing with them, we help them achieve their goals. It isn`t worth it", said the Head of the state.
Putin noted, that with Russian society growing more mature and economical situation improvement, the image of Russia on the international scene is becoming stronger.
