The Russian Federation ought to extend to the activity of " Eastern partnership " (EAP) to prevent the emergence of new dividing lines in the European Union, said foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei during the Ministerial meeting of countries participating in the sentence " Eastern partnership " in Brussels.

the focus of the Ministerial meeting of the EAP were the issues of realization of the proposals after the Vilnius summit 2013, as well as prospects of its further development and possible reformatting in the context of the current situation and signed by Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine agreements on the Union with the EU. In addition, were considered the issues of preparation to the fourth summit of the EAP, which will be held on may 22, 2015 in Riga.
