Leaders of Federal Customs Service (FCS) are planning to achieve complete legalization of electrical appliances import, the Head of anti smuggling department of АСЫ Vladimir Yegorov has informed.
According to him FCS in collaboration with Finnish Customs Service is to carry out special operations on detection of unfair importers Up to 60 % of all imported electrical appliances is delivered to the country through Finland.
Electronic data base including all kinds of electrical and electronic appliances price information is to be created.
Besides, according to FCS data, Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry has prepared and sent for registration to Ministry of Justice the order about implementing declaration of electrical appliances goods on the range level. Should the order be accepted, the importer will have to indicate not only group of goods, but the exact model of the machine.
This measure is supposed to avoid declaring expensive goods as cheaper ones. FSC officials noted that these measures will allow controlling 100% of goods imported to Russia and making importing system completely legal.
