10-th jubilee ceremony of Supreme judicial award "Femida" presentation was held in Moscow today.
Among the premium laureates is Russian minister of justice Yuri Chaika.
The ceremony took place in State Kremline palace. Diploma, breastplate and gilt statue of goddess of justice were awarded to: director of Ural branch of Russian private law school Bronislav Gongalo in nomination "Notary", Saratov state academy of law in nomination "Alma Mater", Russian academy of justice and chairman of Federal arbitrage court over Moscow region Ludmila Maikova in nomination "Justice". Highest judicial premium in nomination "Judicial reform" was handed to professor of Moscow University of Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs, vice-chairman of Council on issues of judicial perfection Sergey Vitsin.
This year the supreme judicial award was presented to one of Russian Justice of Peace - Mikhail Ryazanov from Electrostal town.
"Femida" premium was established in 1996. It is the highest order, which is awarded for contribution to creation of democratic society and development of institutions of constitutional state. For 10 years of premium existence 115 Russian and foreign jurists, public and political figures were awarded.
