Ukraine due to recovery has reduced the transit of gas to the Balkans

Ukraine has reduced the daily volume of natural gas transit pipelines Balkan routes 71% or 36 million cubic meters due to scheduled maintenance and rehabilitation works, the press service of " Ukrtransgas ".

Work commenced on 19 August on gas pipelines " Yelets-Kremenchuk-Kryvyi Rih " and " Ananiev-Tiraspol-Izmail. To finish a full complex of works and re-start transit in full is expected before August 22, according to a report of a subsidiary of Naftogaz for the supply, transportation and storage of natural gas.

In addition, the law allows the government of Ukraine to make a separate operator's underground gas storage facilities, in which American and European investors will also be able to get up to 49%.
