The Association of European businesses (AEB) has called the heads of the EU countries to refrain from new economic penalties regarding Russia, according to a press release of the Association. " Previous punishment was ineffective because they did not change the course of events. In addition, they are deeply harmed the business environment and markets not only in Russia and Ukraine, but also in the EU ", - stated in the message of the AEB, ITAR-TASS reported. The members of the Association urged the heads of state and government of the EU " does not involve business, creating wealth, jobs and stability in the policy, and allow the Ukrainian crisis by diplomatic means ". This is not the 1st time AEB agitating the European Union and the Russian Federation to refrain from punishment. In early August, members of the Association have already appealed to the authorities of the EU and Russia with the petition for the protection of foreign investors from both parties from any further retaliatory measures. The European business Association founded in 1995, brings together more than 630 companies from EU countries and Russia. Association members include major multinational corporations, medium and small enterprises. The organization includes such agri-food organizations and retailers as Bonduelle, Nestle, Valio, Auchan. Remember, August 7, Russia in the form of retaliatory punishment imposed a complete ban on the export of beef, pork, fruits, poultry, cheese and milk from the EU, USA, Australia, Canada and Norway, which introduced sanctions against Russia. The Rosselkhoznadzor said that exporters from the EU, losing access to the market of the Russian Federation, have the possibility to recover it once the restrictive measures will be removed.
