Geckos will "freeze" on Earth
Researchers will find in the Earth survival of tropical geckos in low temperatures, which killed reptiles onboard scientific spacecraft "Foton-M" N4. This decision was explained by the managing program biological part of the project "Foton-M" Vladimir Sychev.

"We are at the same temperature geckos survive in the control experiment on Earth, but he will still be over 8 days to last, to reach the same period of geckos at a low temperature, as it was on the "Photon". But if they are in the control experiment does not die, it means that the orbital flight moments of space flight had a negative auxiliary action. It will also be quite serious conclusion", - stated Sychev.

Together with this, for researchers greater loss would be the death of the flies. "Experience with flies for science has enormous significance. There are assumed to be extremely rigorous research using methods of genome analysis, the understanding of gene expression. In conditions of space flight on Board the "Photon" received up to 3 generations of flies", - quotes the Manager of the project "Interfax". The view was also expressed that, "earlier in space more than 2 weeks with flies never conducted an experiment".

"We first made the experiment lasted 42 days. Got a great biomaterial, a huge number of animals. For us, in terms of science, this experience hundred times more important. This great result," said the scientist.

Remember that "Foton-M", on Board of which are geckos, flies, fruit flies, tiny organisms and seeds of higher plants, returned to Earth. After conducting an initial investigation, it became known that all 4 lizards, aboard bisuteki died.

Russian scientific spacecraft 1 September landed on earth in the Orenburg region. Immediately after planting, biostatic with animals displaced by plane in the UNIVERSITY's biomedical problems, Russian Academy of Sciences for research.

After extraction of biological objects from the lander to conduct initial surveys revealed that flies-Drosophila moved spaceflight superb, successfully developed and bred. All geckos, sadly, died. The date and conditions of death are installed by experts. Now scientific technique with experiments is being prepared for transportation to the laboratory for scientific institutions", - is told in the news of the Federal space Agency.

As we informed the Melbourne Herald sun, biocapsule satellite Foton-M4" with geckos, fly-blown, silkworm eggs, mushrooms and seeds of higher plants have been introduced into earth orbit from Baikonur on July 19. The biological part of the mission "Photon" contained 8 experiments. The largest animals on biological satellites were 5 geckos length of approximately 10 cm each. Experience with geckos meant obtaining their offspring born in space.

Sadly, the experience with exergame failed. Scientists planned that the geckos, who went into space may be more, but all lizards had been in space returned to their home planet dead. Note that sent together with them flies successfully survived the flight. In test tubes with flies was replaced by 4 generations of insects.
