The US and NATO countries still consider it necessary to toughen the sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, told reporters authorized delegation.

" NATO leaders agreed that the Russian Federation shall be subject to further punishment because of acts in the East of Ukraine. The leaders reaffirmed that recognize wrongful continuing violation by Russia of Ukrainian sovereignty, " said the American diplomat at the meeting.
Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. At the end of July, the EU and the US from point penalties against individuals and organizations turned to measures against entire sectors of the Russian economy. In response, Russia has restricted the import of food items from countries that have introduced in relation to penalties: USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway.
