The European Commission hopes to have time to extend expiring November 1, the validity of unilateral trade measures for Ukraine, for easier access its items on the EU market, will be offered in the form of a new period 31 December 2015, told reporters the EU trade Commissioner Karel de Gucht.
The European Union from spring to November 1 of the current year cancelled/reduced customs duties on most industrial and agricultural products from Ukraine. First it was expected that the Association agreement EU-Ukraine pre will start to operate until November, that is, before the end of the preferential trade regime of the EU for Ukraine.
on the last working day of the week, the trilateral Ministerial meeting of the Russia-EC-Ukraine agreement on the unity of the EU and Ukraine, where it was agreed to postpone the use of the free trade agreement EU-Ukraine (part of the Association) to December 31, 2015.

I think It could be done before the 1st of November, " said de Gucht at the press conference after the trilateral Ministerial meeting.
" We will offer the use of trade measures up to this date (December 31, 2015 as amended), " de Gucht added.
