Gazprom will take measures to minimize the risk of disruption of transit through Ukraine
The Board of Directors of " Gazprom " ordered the holding Board of Directors to give effect to minimize the risk of disrupting the flow of gas transit to the European Union through Ukraine this winter, according to a report by Gazprom.
The issue of relations with Ukraine in the gas sector was considered at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Gazprom. It was noted that the debt of Naftogaz of Ukraine to Gazprom for gas is about 5, 3 billion dollars, and in connection with chronic non-payment of the Ukrainian state company under the current contract has been transferred to the prepaid system.

The Board of Directors ordered the Board to continue working within the framework of prisoners between " Gazprom " and " Naftogaz of Ukraine " the contract on the volumes and terms of transit of natural gas through the territory of Ukraine and on the sale of natural gas, including the settlement of the debts of Ukrainian organizations for the supplied gas.
