The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is waiting for legal clearance of the decision to postpone the introduction of the FTA
Moscow hopes that Ukraine and the EU will issue in the legal form of the decision to introduce a delay to the rules of a free trade zone, according to the explanation of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, released on Wednesday.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the European Parliament on Tuesday ratified the Association agreement of Kiev with the EU. The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on the unity immediately after the ratification of the document. However, the results of the previous 12 September Ministerial meeting of the Russia-EC-Ukraine in Brussels, the parties agreed to postpone temporarily using the free trade agreement EU-Ukraine until December 31, 2015. So, from 1 November 2014, the EU extends privilege and offline access to its market for Ukrainian subjects, but lays up to 31 December 2015 the use of the agreement establishing the free trade, such as duty-free importation of their subjects in Ukraine.
" Expected legal aspects in the European Union and in Kyiv's decision to postpone until December 31, 2015 the introduction of the temporary use regulations of the free trade zone. We hope that the coming period will be used for legally binding settlement of all Russian concerns in the interests of preserving bilateral economic relations by adjusting the agreement on the Union, " - emphasizes the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
